Tasks

  • Manufacturing and assembling riveted joints and assemblies on structural components in accordance with construction documents, manufacturing instructions and drawings
  • Manufacturing components in accordance with applicable aviation standards
  • Preparing for production: reviewing orders and drawings, setting up components and the construction site, and checking and providing production equipment
  • Positioning and securing components for safe assembly
  • Carrying out and documenting the assembly of components and assemblies
  • Performing surface protection such as rivet head application and preservation of seal seams

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic or metalworker/bodywork technician or in a metalworking profession
  • Initial professional experience in manufacturing/production and maintenance
  • Advanced German (at least B2) and basic English skills
  • Willingness to work shifts in a 2-3 shift operation
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
  • Team player with a quality-oriented, independent and responsible approach to work
