Tasks
- Manufacturing and assembling riveted joints and assemblies on structural components in accordance with construction documents, manufacturing instructions and drawings
- Manufacturing components in accordance with applicable aviation standards
- Preparing for production: reviewing orders and drawings, setting up components and the construction site, and checking and providing production equipment
- Positioning and securing components for safe assembly
- Carrying out and documenting the assembly of components and assemblies
- Performing surface protection such as rivet head application and preservation of seal seams
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic or metalworker/bodywork technician or in a metalworking profession
- Initial professional experience in manufacturing/production and maintenance
- Advanced German (at least B2) and basic English skills
- Willingness to work shifts in a 2-3 shift operation
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
- Team player with a quality-oriented, independent and responsible approach to work
