Responsibilities


  • Quality Documentation: Document work and non-conformances in English (e.g., Pirbuch, rework folio)
  • Process Coordination: Coordinate capacities within the team and at the assembly station to clarify issues and meet deadlines
  • Impact Analysis: Recognize and assess the impact of rework and follow-up work on the final deadline
  • Damage Rectification: Perform rework on outer skin damage
  • Disruption Management: Take measures to resolve disruptions, e.g., by changing the work sequence
  • Build Status Inspection: Inspect work objects for compliance with development, customer, and certification requirements
  • First Article and Repeat Inspections: Prepare and conduct first article inspections as well as repeat inspections after deviation resolution
  • Special Operations: Apply special procedures such as flap peening or cold working


Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic
  • Many years of professional experience in the aerospace industry
  • Several years of experience in quality assurance and structural assembly
  • Completed qualification as a self-certifier
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
  • High level of diligence, sense of responsibility, and teamwork skills
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
