In the Aircraft on Ground (AOG) sector, every minute counts – because when an aircraft is grounded, operations come to a standstill. We are looking for a Supply Manager in the field of AOG Supply Management for our customer Airbus Operations GmbH at their Hamburg Finkenwerder site. This position offers you the opportunity to play an active role in ensuring smooth supply chains in a highly critical environment – with responsibility, structure, and an eye for the essentials. Tasks

  • Monitoring and controlling order processing in the AOG area
  • Analyzing delivery delays and prioritizing according to the needs of the assembly lines and customer support
  • Optimizing supply chains and implementing short-term operational measures
  • Daily monitoring of supply chain performance (goods receipt, shipping, transport, etc.) and conflict resolution
  • Collaboration with suppliers and internal interfaces, including on-site visits
  • Implementation and control of return logistics processes
  • Data maintenance in the ERP system and implementation of measures for inventory optimization
  • Conducting supplier evaluations and risk assessments

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in engineering, business administration, supply chain management, or logistics (at least a bachelor's degree)
  • Several years of experience in purchasing, customer service, and project management
  • Basic knowledge of project management
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP R/3, experience with Google Workspace is an advantage
  • Business fluent German (at least C1), very good English skills (at least B2)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
