Tasks
- Coordination and control of supplier management to ensure quality, deadlines, and production capability
- Participation in supplier selection as well as definition of contractual requirements and claim management
- Ensuring quality standards and methods such as APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)
- Conducting risk assessments and deriving appropriate monitoring measures
- Verifying supplier compliance with Airbus and EASA regulations
- Initiating improvement measures to increase supplier maturity
- Performing regular Gemba Walks and supplier audits to assess industrial performance
- Reporting deviations and escalating issues to management level
Qualifications
- Completed degree in engineering, a technical field, business administration or supply chain / logistics
- Several years of professional experience in operational / strategic procurement, project management, quality management, supplier management or supply chain
- Knowledge of APQP / industrialisation is an advantage
- Initial application knowledge in SAP as well as in working with Google Workspace
- Advanced German language skills (at least B2) and business fluent English skills (at least C1)
- Willingness to travel regularly for business purposes (1–2 times per month)
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
