At Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you will take on the role of Supply Chain Quality Manager, overseeing the operational and qualitative management of supplier relationships. Responsibilities


  • Supplier Management as the central point of contact for operational activities and contract management
  • Quality and Performance Management of the supply chain with a focus on on-time delivery, quality, and cost
  • Qualification and Certification of suppliers, ensuring compliance in coordination with internal stakeholders
  • Capacity Planning through consolidated forecasts and assessment of supplier capacities
  • Risk Management by identifying industrial risks at suppliers and developing mitigation actions
  • Project Management for initiating and controlling supplier development and improvement projects
  • Performance Reporting by presenting supplier performance (KPIs, assessments) in multifunctional team meetings


Qualifications

  • Completed degree (at least Bachelor's) in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain / Logistics, or Supply Chain Quality
  • Several years of professional experience in supplier management, quality management, and supply chain
  • Experience in project management is an advantage
  • Proficient use of MS Office and SAP; knowledge of Google Workspace
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Willingness to travel (1-2 times per quarter within Europe)
  • Technical understanding and presentation experience
  • Independent, structured, and results-oriented way of working, strong communication skills, as well as persuasiveness and assertiveness
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
