Tasks
- Evaluate and control hardware and software supplier proposals in collaboration with internal departments (civil and military sectors)
- Support and steer suppliers throughout the development process to meet defined requirements
- Execute cost-conscious and time-optimized engineering tasks for custom-built avionics systems
- Handle electrical and mechanical integration into advanced helicopter platforms
- Serve as a technical advisor for customer-specific equipment solutions
- Prepare and release documentation to ensure on-time certification and delivery
- Support stakeholders in procurement, production, customer service and program management
- Advise the programme leadership team on critical technical and partially strategic decisions
Qualifications
- Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering (min. Bachelor's level)
- Several years of professional experience (min. 3 years) as a design engineer in electronics or avionics
- Experience with communication and navigation technologies, ideally in aviation environments
- Background in technical development and integration of mission systems
- Competence in supplier management and process coordination
- Basic knowledge of helicopter avionics is desirable
- Fluent German and English skills (at least C1)
- A valid and unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
