We are currently looking for a System Engineer Cooling Systems Aerospace to support Airbus Operations GmbH at the Hamburg-Finkenwerder site. In this role, you will actively help shape the next generation of aircraft cooling systems – from requirements management and verification through to solving in-service issues. Tasks
- Specification of requirements for cooling systems and associated components
- Support of the verification and validation (V&V) process to ensure compliance with system requirements
- Definition of test strategies and close collaboration with test teams (flight, ground, and laboratory tests)
- Development of technical solutions for issues in in-service aircraft (in-service support)
- Analysis of technical interrelationships and development of efficient solution approaches
- Coordination of workflows within the system development process
Qualifications
- Completed degree in engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable technical discipline
- Several years of professional experience in engineering and development
- Knowledge in refrigeration technology/cooling systems and system development as well as experience with verification and validation (V&V) processes is an advantage
- Confident handling of Google Workspace
- English business fluent (at least C1), German skills are an asset
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
