Responsibilities


  • Cross-functional collaboration as a technical interface in a multidisciplinary team to align development goals
  • Technical supplier management for critical gear and drive system components
  • Root cause analysis and active participation in failure analyses to ensure airworthiness
  • Technical support in manufacturing, assembly, maintenance (MRO), and during test bench trials
  • Continuous improvement of transmission components to increase overhaul intervals and reduce failure risks
  • Internal coordination with specialist departments such as structural analysis, quality, manufacturing, flight testing, and project management
  • Direct product involvement through work on physical components and activities on the helicopter


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (at least Bachelor's)
  • Several years of professional experience as a Design Engineer, ideally in the aerospace industry
  • Experience in transmission and drive systems as well as in the areas of Continued Airworthiness and Major Incidents is an advantage
  • Detailed specialist knowledge of MS-Office and Catia V5; SAP knowledge is desirable
  • Proficient German skills; business fluent English (at least C1); French skills are an advantage
  • Alternatively to a degree: completed technical vocational training with many years of relevant experience and additional qualifications in the field of design
  • Teamwork skills, communication skills, and a motivated, solution-oriented approach to work
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
