Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Definition, development, and certification of effective avionics solutions for civil and military helicopters
- Requirements Management: Capturing stakeholder needs, conducting functional analyses, and specifying all functional and non-functional requirements
- System Design: Proposing the optimal avionics design considering safety, cost, weight, reusability, and industrial strategy
- Interface Management: Defining all external avionics interfaces and coordinating with other helicopter systems and the ground segment
- Verification & Qualification: Ensuring all verification activities at the avionics level and preparing technical evidence for certification
- Process Design: Contributing to systems engineering for avionics (processes, methods, tools) and managing cross-functional tasks
- Technology Roadmapping: Actively contributing to technology roadmaps for future developments and capabilities
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Avionics, Systems Engineering, or a comparable field (at least Bachelor's degree)
- Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering/electronics and engineering
- Initial relevant experience in avionics
- Confident handling of tools such as Doors, Visio, Reqtify, Mantis, Nectar, Windchill, Cameo, and 3D Experience (TRA/TRM/EEW/RGD) is advantageous
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- Teamwork skills, customer orientation, and an open approach to challenges
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
