Responsibilities


  • Software Development Platform: Holistic care and further development of the platform in the avionics environment (Plan, Build, Operate)
  • Automation: Provisioning, configuration, packaging, and installation of the development environment using scripting and modern deployment tools
  • Infrastructure: Design and administration of server landscapes to ensure independence and tool availability
  • Tool Management: Setup and maintenance of a central tool and license database for transparent management of software, costs, and contracts
  • Problem Solving: Technical analysis and control to solve complex problems in the development environment
  • Process Optimization: Monitoring, adaptation, and optimization of software design and requirements processes
  • Service Control: Implementation and optimization of a problem reporting system (e.g., via JIRA) for structured error analysis
  • Availability: Ensuring continuous availability through proactive license management, monitoring, and cost control


Qualifications

  • Completed Master's or Diplom degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in automating infrastructure processes (Infrastructure as Code/Scripting) and software packaging
  • Experience in operating and configuring development systems as well as in system and network technology (server operation, license servers)
  • Proficient handling of relational databases (SQL) and workflow management tools (especially JIRA)
  • Business fluent English (at least C1); German language skills are an advantage
  • CV in English required
  • Strong process understanding, teamwork skills, and proactive working style
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
