At Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching, you will work as a Systems Engineer Subsystems at the interface between customer requirements, supplier management, and internal system integration. You will define subsystem specifications, harmonize requirements with other architects, and thus contribute to the successful implementation of complex defense projects.

Responsibilities


  • Requirements Management: Define subsystem requirements and monitor their implementation
  • Supplier Management: Ensure that offered solutions comply with requirements
  • Cross-functional Organizations: Contribute to activities performed by safety, certification, and RAMT teams
  • System Architecture: Harmonize requirements and design with other segment and functional chain architects
  • Technical Assessments: Support the program line with technical evaluations as needed
  • Integration and Verification Activities: Support IV activities
  • Customer Contact: Maintain contact with the customer to refine operational expectations and requirements


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed Master's or Diplom degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Aerospace Engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in engineering, ideally in the aerospace sector
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering standards such as ARP 4754a, Incose, and system and software development in aviation
  • Experience with DOORS and Cameo tools; experience with Simulink required
  • Business fluent English (at least C1); German knowledge is a plus
  • Experience in project management and with IT/information systems
  • Teamwork skills, communication strength, and analytical thinking
  • CV in English required
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
