Responsibilities


  • End-to-End Test Engineering: Manage the complete test lifecycle – from requirements analysis and precise test case design to test execution on avionics test facilities and subsequent data analysis and reporting
  • Technical Collaboration: Work closely with design offices to validate requirements and address technical deviations in a constructive and solution-oriented manner
  • Automation and Scripting: Develop and implement automated test procedures and scripts to enhance the efficiency and repeatability of testing processes
  • Complex Data Analysis: Evaluate test results and analyze data structures, utilizing knowledge of various communication protocols and interfaces (e.g., ARINC, AFDX)
  • Ensuring System Quality: Systematically identify defects and document them with high precision to ensure the seamless verification of avionics systems
  • Test Environments: Work in a test facility environment and become familiar with its specific challenges and processes


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed Master's or Diplom degree in Computer Science or Aerospace Engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in IT/information systems as well as aerospace
  • General knowledge of avionic systems is an advantage
  • Detailed specialist knowledge in Python; programming knowledge in C/C++, AD or ATL desirable
  • Proficient German skills; business fluent English skills (at least C1)
  • Willingness to work in a test facility environment
  • Solution-oriented attitude, resilience and teamwork skills
  • CV in English required
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
