Tasks

  • Execution of measurements, acceptance tests and functional tests in accordance with work orders and established manufacturing procedures
  • Performing tests on attitude control systems, components and tanks, including thermal vacuum, leak, vibration and pressure tests
  • Programming, data acquisition and evaluation with a strong focus on precision and safety
  • Selection and integration of measurement systems as well as implementation of technical components
  • Mechanical tasks such as applying adjustments and carrying out integration work in a cleanroom environment
  • Documentation and analysis of test results
  • Close collaboration with the team to ensure a continuous flow of information

Qualifications

  • Completed technical training, e.g. as an aircraft mechanic, industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, mechanic or comparable – at least at technician or master craftsman level
  • Several years of experience as a technical specialist and in the fields of electrical engineering/electronics, aerospace mechanics, mechatronics, space engineering and manufacturing/production
  • In-depth knowledge of measurement methods and testing technologies, including experience in helium leak detection
  • Confident use of Catman for programming, data acquisition and evaluation
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
  • Willingness to work shifts, perform overtime and operate in cleanroom environments
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
