Tasks
- Create work plans and bills of materials (BOMs) for metallic components and assemblies in SAP
- Take full project responsibility for prototype projects and small series components
- Make make-or-buy decisions and coordinate the procurement process
- Develop manufacturing concepts and continuously improve existing processes, including commissioning and implementation of modifications
- Assess the technical feasibility of design documents
- Carry out calculations and support quotation processes
- Manage interfaces between engineering, quality assurance, and production planning
- Handle quality notifications and commission manufacturing aids
Qualifications
- Completed degree in engineering, mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering combined with a qualification as a technician or master craftsman
- Extensive professional experience in production planning, engineering, aerospace, and aircraft mechanics
- Ideally, hands-on experience with drilling processes in the aerospace industry
- In-depth knowledge of SAP and MS Office
- Very good German skills (min. C1) and good English skills (min. B2)
- A team-oriented, responsible, and solution-driven approach to work
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
