For our client HENSOLDT Sensors GmbH, we are looking for a Temporary Cable Manufacturing Worker at the Kiel site. Here, you will assemble special cables for military and civilian radar systems – from configuration to final testing. Your meticulous work is an essential contribution to the commissioning and maintenance of these complex systems.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 43,428 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 01.06.2028. Responsibilities


  • Cable assembly of military special cables for power, RF, and fiber optic applications according to provided documentation
  • Connection technology: Manufacturing of crimped, mechanically secured, or soldered connections in compliance with IPC-A-620
  • Fiber optics: Production of fiber optic connections
  • Quality testing of manufactured cable assemblies
  • Documentation of all manufacturing and testing steps
  • Teamwork: Ensuring smooth information flow within the assembly team


Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training in mechanics or electrical engineering or comparable qualification
  • Initial experience in cable assembly
  • Basic knowledge in the field of electrical engineering
  • Proficient use of MS Office
  • Business fluent German (at least C1); good English skills (at least B2)
  • Teamwork skills, high sense of responsibility, and good communication skills
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
