Tasks

  • Coordination with internal departments and regulatory authorities for compliance verification and support during audits
  • Planning, execution and documentation of internal and external test series
  • Derivation and implementation of technical test requirements based on specifications
  • Coordination and supervision of material, substance and qualification tests in accordance with aerospace standards
  • Optimisation of testing processes through digitalisation and automation
  • Maintenance of the testing knowledge management system and active participation in cross-functional working groups 
  • Procurement, maintenance and supervision of test equipment and test facilities
  • Preparation of technical documuntation such as operating instructions, equipment specifications and safety documentation

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in aerospace engineering, plastics engineering, composite materials or materials science (minimum: Bachelor's degree)
  • Several years of professional experience in material testing and testing of plastics
  • Solid knowledge of measurement technology and test procedures as well as an understanding of aerospace-specific standards
  • Confident use of MS Office (at least advanced application skills)
  • Basic knowledge of SAP and Catia V5
  • German language skills at negotiation level (minimum C1), English language skills at advanced level (minimum B2)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
