Responsibilities
- Goods receipt: coordinate and monitor incoming deliveries in logistics and production areas
- Quality control: check the physical condition of packages and visually inspect for packaging damage
- Warehouse management: ensure products are correctly labeled and accompanied by a goods receipt note
- Document verification: verify accompanying documents and check their correspondence with storage location and product batch
- Storage conditions: adhere to product-specific storage requirements and consider compatibility between different products
- Product protection: ensure protection to prevent unwanted contact (e.g., metal on metal)
- Customs handling: manage customs procedures in the relevant area
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a warehouse logistics specialist or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in warehouse logistics
- Initial experience in the field of logistics
- Proficient use of MS Office and SAP
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
- Willingness to work shifts (late shift every 3-4 weeks), Saturday work, and on-call duty
- Teamwork skills, independent working style, and a strong sense of responsibility
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
