For our client HENSOLDT Sensors GmbH, we are looking for an Embedded Software Developer Aviation at the Taufkirchen site near Munich. In the Active Sensing Engineering department, you will develop software for self-protection systems of land and air vehicles – from concept through prototypes to series production.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 76,533 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.12.2026. Responsibilities


  • Embedded Software Development in C/C++ for security systems
  • V-Model: Involvement in all project phases from requirements analysis to verification
  • Hardware/Software Integration performed independently and coordinated
  • Software Verification and Validation planned and implemented
  • Test Procedures created, executed, and documented
  • Technical Documentation created and maintained
  • Team Coordination with system and software engineers


Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable field (at least Bachelor's)
  • Many years of professional experience in software development for embedded systems and low-level programming
  • Very good knowledge of C/C++ and Python
  • Good knowledge of software development under Linux and in the field of real-time data processing
  • Experience in creating board support packages and with requirements management software (e.g., Rational DOORS)
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
  • Good communication skills, teamwork, and a high sense of responsibility
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
