We are seeking an HR Consultant / HR Specialist for our client Lufthansa Technik AG at their Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel location. You will keep HR processes administratively on track, support People Business Partners with labor and social security law issues, and ensure that documentation, deadlines, and quality standards are met. Responsibilities


  • Provide administrative support to People Business Partners on personnel, social, labor law, and HR policy matters, and ensure operational People Operations in the support area
  • Coordinate interfaces between recruiting and business units and provide administrative support for relevant hiring processes and HR concepts
  • Ensure workflows and HR processes are optimized with the support of People (HR) IT tools
  • Be responsible for, further develop, and optimize knowledge and document management within the People Consultancy
  • Prepare complex individual, collective, and labor law issues with People Business Partners and independently draft documents for employee representatives
  • Draft and coordinate HR documents such as side letters, permanent employment agreements, temporary staffing contracts, transfer letters, as well as presentations and decision-making documents
  • Pre-structure and coordinate personnel and organizational measures, and ensure process compliance, deadlines, and quality in the areas under your responsibility

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Business Administration or Law, or equivalent skills and knowledge
  • Initial professional experience in the People (HR) field, ideally in the design/implementation of operational HR solutions as well as process and project management
  • Basic familiarity with labor law, works constitution law, and social security law, as well as collective bargaining agreements, company agreements, and HR processes
  • Very good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office
  • German language skills (min. C1) and English language skills (min. B2)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (not a student visa) is mandatory
  • Position based in Hamburg with at least 80% commitment – willingness to work part-time in Frankfurt am Main if necessary
  • Analytical and conceptual skills, negotiation skills, assertiveness, and excellent communication and presentation skills
