At Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Immenstaad, you will take on the role of Network Engineer IT Infrastructure with full technical operational responsibility for the network infrastructure in Germany. You will manage IT service providers, plan costs, and continuously develop the infrastructure – ensuring that projects and new solutions are built on a stable foundation.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 69,553 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.03.2028. Responsibilities


  • Technical operational responsibility for the entire network infrastructure in Germany and ensuring stable, high-quality operations according to ITIL
  • Provider management of IT service providers in accordance with contractually defined KPIs and SLAs
  • Project cooperation with other IT departments during the implementation of new, network-based solutions
  • Cost planning and control for the network infrastructure including continuous development
  • Root cause analysis and technical support for network disruptions
  • Authorization management of the highest administrative access rights within your area of responsibility


Qualifications

  • Completed Master's or Diplom degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable subject
  • Several years of professional experience in operating IT infrastructure solutions or as an IT project manager in the field of network infrastructures
  • In-depth knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: LAN, WAN, WiFi, DDI (DNS, DHCP, IP Address Management)
  • Experience with Cisco Nexus and ACI, Cisco Switches & Routers, Cisco Wireless Lan Controllers & Access Points, and EfficientIP is an advantage
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes, especially the Service Operations phase, is required
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Analytical thinking, assertiveness, initiative, teamwork, and flexibility
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
