Tasks

  • Control of obsolescence management for military series products (e.g., Tiger)
  • Interface function to engineering, purchasing, logistics, and programs
  • Analysis and evaluation of critical obsolescence risks
  • Definition of solutions and coordination of implementation (e.g., redesign, last buy, repair)
  • Prioritization of measures in coordination with strategic stakeholders
  • Maintenance of the obsolescence database and monitoring of implementation steps
  • Moderation of obsolescence workshops with suppliers and internal departments
  • Preparation of decision-making bases for management and change boards

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in business administration or a comparable field of study
  • Several years of professional experience in IT, project management, supply chain and technical documentation
  • Several years of experience in aerospace and procurement
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP, MS Office, and ideally Google Suite
  • Business fluent English (at least C1) and proficient German (at least B2), French desirable
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Resume in English required
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
