Tasks
- Managing projects and linguistic activities in the field of aircraft technical services, including work package management
- Coordinating with internal customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders in an international environment
- Translating technical documentation into core languages (English, Spanish, German, French) – e.g., service bulletins, maintenance and flight manuals, as required internally (export control)
- Proofreading technical documentation in English, Spanish, German, and French, and performing quality assurance
- Ensuring terminology consistency throughout the entire creation and translation process
- Monitoring and optimizing the internal terminology database and contributing to topics such as Simplified Technical English and Artificial Intelligence in authoring/translation environments
- Regularly analyzing risks and opportunities and improving internal processes in the spirit of continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Completed university degree in languages/linguistics or, alternatively, completed vocational training with qualified further education and extensive professional experience
- Several years of professional experience in total, including several years of experience in the aerospace industry
- Extensive experience in technical translation and working with CAT tools (computer-assisted translation), currently Trados Studio and MultiTerm
- Experience in project management of multilingual translation projects
- Experience with Simplified Technical English desirable
- Business fluent German, English, and Spanish skills (at least C1 in each) required; advanced French (at least B2) a great advantage
- Resume in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
